Missions to South America

Greetings from missionary James Chung

Brooklyn Alliance Church has participated in short-term missions to South America since 1994. We have sent short-term mission teams to different cities in Venezuela and Brazil in the past few years. By God's grace, many Chinese people have turned their faith to Christ.

From 1999, Brooklyn Alliance Church sends out a short-term mission team to Brazil each year. These teams have evangelized in cities like Campinas, Sao Paulo and Santos.

In 2000, New York Chinese Alliance Church sent Rev. James Chung and his family to Brazil as missionaries. In 2001, Campinas Chinese Alliance Church was formed. Constantly, there have about 20 Christians are gathering and worshiping. Now, Missionary Chung and his family serve in Sao Paulo where resides half a million Chinese people. A Cantonese-speaking church will be established in the near future in Sao Paulo.

This year, Brooklyn Alliance Church will also send out a short-term mission team to Brazil in July. If you are interested to join the Army of God, please contact Rev. Caleb Leung.

If you are part of the Canadian Chinese Alliance Church, please contact Rev. Peter Yip at 403-239-2990; or The-Yips@usa.net.
